Antonio Wilson, age 48, and Donna Miller, age 47, both of Southampton, were taken into custody early Monday, Oct 9, following a search at a home on North Magee Street, according to Southampton Town Police.

Officers initially went to the property with reports that two people were squatting in the home illegally and had sold the homeowners’ belongings.

During their investigation, police determined that Wilson and Miller were behind an armed robbery that occurred at a Speedway Gas station in Southampton, located on County Road 39, on Friday, Sept. 8.

In that incident, multiple agencies responded to the store shortly before 11 p.m. after receiving a panic alarm notification.

An employee told officers that a man had walked in and robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspect grabbed an unknown amount of cash, lottery tickets, and cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

Neither the employee nor a customer inside at the time were injured.

Wilson and Miller are each charged with criminal trespass and grand larceny. Wilson was additionally charged with robbery.

They were expected to be arraigned Monday morning.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Southampton Town Police Department at 631-702-2230 or email the agency at this address.
